Today's spotlight takes us into the Grant Park area with Rooster Town Park. This area was previously settled by Metis families, when it was known as Pakan Town until 1959. Today, it sits next to the Pan Am Pool, Bill and Helen Norrie Library, and Grant Park High School. The park area features a playground and long open area alongside Grant Ave.

Today's spotlight takes us to Enderton Park, a cozy neighbourhood park along Ruskin Row, a few blocks east of Kelvin High School. Nicknamed Peanut Park by the local community, this park features a playground, and network of pathways passing by several community flower gardens.

Today we head south to William Osler Park, nestled in behind William Osler School grounds along Mathers Ave. This park features a hockey rink, playground, and wading pool. They've made some changes to the school grounds here since these photos were taken, so I plan to revisit...

Today's spotlight continues in the River Heights area with Brock Fleet Park, found on the north side of Fleet Ave at Brock St. Next to Brock Corydon School grounds the park features an open area and a playground nestled in amongst the trees.
