Yesterday was a very meaningful morning at the 2025 Winnipeg Walk to Remember (Pregnancy & Infant Loss) event.
I was honoured to be the volunteer photographer for this event, and wanted to share a few of the photos from yesterday to raise awareness of such an important cause.

From their page: "Donations are used to help us put on our walks. Any excess money is donated to the bereavement units of local hospitals, or other organizations, to provide support and resources for newly bereaved parents."
The type of support the Walk to Remember provides through their yearly walk, and to parents year round cannot be over stated. It is all run by volunteers, and everything made goes right back to bereaved parents.
It is a topic that no one wants to imagine, but is a heartbreaking reality for many families.
This event allows space for babies names to be read, poems to be shared, and a moment of silence for those lost.
If you are a bereaved parent yourself, or would like to support them, feel free to contact their page and see how you can connect.
Thank you again Walk to Remember for having me capture such a beautiful day.
