Just a night full of lights, pumpkins, and tiny hands to hold.
Boo at the Zoo 2025 was everything I didn’t know we needed.

Memories like this don’t happen by accident — they happen because we show up.

šŸ‚ A Day in Slow Motion – Sep 16, 2025

From fallen leaves near The Forks Market at 12:25 p.m.
to twilight trees whispering stories at 6:13 p.m. —
today unfolded like poetry in motion.

Each frame captured through my iPhone 16 Pro Max,
edited gently in Lightroom — not just to enhance,
but to express what I felt in that moment.

šŸ“ Winnipeg, Manitoba
šŸ 120mm f/2.8 telephoto stillness
šŸƒ 24mm f/1.78 fusion of colors on the ground

Sometimes we photograph not to capture,
but to remember how silence sounds
and how light feels when seasons change.

A city’s rhythm isn’t just in its noise, but in the quiet moments we overlook—
A stoplight caught mid-blink,
A vintage Chevy humming history into modern chaos,
Turbines spinning above a sunset-soaked sky,
A firetruck resting beneath Transcona’s memories.
Each frame a heartbeat of Winnipeg—where stories meet steel, and the present echoes the past.ā€

The sun never truly sets—it only surrenders to the embrace of the horizon, painting the sky with the echoes of its farewell. Each dusk is a whispered reminder that endings are merely transitions, where light dissolves not into darkness, but into a deeper story waiting to unfold.

Somewhere between the last golden glow and the first shadow of night, there exists a fleeting moment of stillness—a pause between what was and what will be. And in that silence, we find a reflection of ourselves, dissolving, evolving, becoming.

Smoke and Steel: The Cost of Progress šŸŒšŸ—

We chase development, yet we seldom pause to see what it leaves behind.

šŸ First image: Smoke rises—its beauty deceptive, its truth unsettling. We build, we expand, we create, but at what cost? Nature absorbs it all, silently bearing the weight of our ambitions.

šŸ— Second image: A skyline in transition—construction cranes stitching the future, brick by brick. But are we building towards growth or destruction? Progress should not come at the expense of the very land that sustains us.

🚦 The city moves, the lights change, and we keep going… rarely looking back. But should we?
