Road trip from Winnipeg to Kenora,Sioux Narrows, Rushing River Provincial park &Tunnel Island Trails:

Kenora යනු කැනඩාවේ ඔන්ටාරියෝ හි වුඩ්ස් විල මත, මැනිටෝබා මායිමට ආසන්නව සහ මාර්ග ඔස්සේ විනිපෙග් සිට 210 Km පමණ නැගෙනහිරින් පිහිටි නගරයකි. Winnipeg සිට පැය 3 ක ගමනකින් පසු අපි අපගේ පළමු නැවතුම (Kenora Town) වෙත පැමිණියෙමු. තවත් 75Km ගමනකින් පසු අපි එදා රෑ ගත කළේ Sioux narrows Motel එකෙ. ඉලග දවසෙ උදෙ කැමෙන් පස්සෙ අපි ගියෙ Siox narrows ඉදලා 50 Km දුරින් තියන, Rushing River Provinvial park එක බලන්න. හෙට‍යාර් 340 පැතිර තියන මේ Provincial park එක, whitewater rapids සහ වැලි සහිත වෙරළ තුනකින් සමන් විතයි. Tunnel island trials (Waa’say’ Gaa Boo) තියෙන්නෙ Rushing river park එකෙ ඉදලා 30 km දුරින්. අපේ ඉලග නැවතුම වෙන්නෙ මේ Tunnel island trials එක. මෙම ප්‍රදේශය වසර 8000ක ඉතිහාසයක් ඇති ස්තානයක්. මේ trial එකේ ඇවිදගන ‍යද්දි විනිපෙග් ගඟේ (Winnipeg river) සහ නෝමන් වේල්ලෙහි (Norman Dam) සිත් ඇදගන්නාසුළු දසුන් Tunnel island සෑදී ඇති මංපෙත් මාලාව ඔස්සේ දැක ගත හැකිය.

සියවස් ගණනාවක් පැරණි යෝධ ගස් අතර ඇවිදින්න/Beaudry Provincial Park, Manitoba, Trial Walk at 6.30 am.

ඔබ වනාන්තරයට ඇතුළු වූ මොහොතේ සිටම ඔබට විශේෂ ස්ථානයක සිටින බව හැගෙනවා. මෙම වනාන්තරය, ප්‍රදේශයේ විශාලතම බාස්වුඩ් (largest basswood), කපුවුඩ් (cottonwood) සහ මේපල් ගස් (maple trees) වලින් සමනිවිතයි. Assiniboine ගඟේ ඇඹරෙන දකුණු ඉවුර දිගේ සැරිසැරීමට Wild Grape හෝ Elm Trail තෝරන්න. Wild Grape and Elm trail යනු Assiniboine ගඟ දිගේ දිවෙන 5.1Km loop trail එකකි.

හොඳින් සලකුණු කර ඇති මාර්ගය දෙපස ගස් මුදුන් දක්වා මීටර් 12/අඩි 40ක් ඉහළට නැඟී ඇති මීවන සහ වල් මිදි වැල්වලින් සරු කොළ පලසක් ඇත. ඔබ දෙස බලා සිටින බව ඔබට හැඟේ නම්, ඔබ බොහෝ විට නිවැරදි ය. සුදු වලිග මුවන්, නරියා, බකමූණෝ, රකූන්, බීවර් සහ Muskrat බහුලව දක්නට ලැබේ. ඇවිදින්න එන්න, විනෝද චාරිකාවක් සඳහා රැඳී සිටින්න, Assiniboine දිගේ විවේකීව පැදවීම සඳහා ඔබේ ඔරුව රැගෙන එන්න.
