May is wedding month for me this year and there’s so much to look forward to! From bridal shower planning, to shooting my first wedding of 2023, to some maid of honour duties, we are pretty wedding-obsessed around here. Helping my sister with her big day had me thinking back to the weeks before our wedding in 2019. If you are in the wedding planning weeds, here are a few tips to help make it through:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Stop looking for more wedding inspiration or projects a couple months out. I actually had to delete the Pinterest app off of my phone to focus on projects that were already in progress. At a certain point, you just need to trust the vision!

Don’t be scared to lean on your support system (and yes that includes your wedding professionals)! From your hair and makeup team, caterer, to photographer, most wedding pros are more than welcome to share their expertise and make sure your day runs smoothly.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Find some friends (in your real life or virtual) who “get it”. Wedding planning is a quick and special season and finding others who have been through it can be a huge help. I highly recommend the account and their podcast if you are just in need of a laugh.
