As a photographer, I’ve had clients ask me about RAW files & if they can have them as well as the edited version of the image when I send them their online photo gallery.

Every photographer runs their business with their own discretion & to their own capabilities. Not every photographer will offer the same services or options. Some photographers don’t care about giving out RAW files, some do.

Do I personally deliver RAW files? No — for a few reasons!
But let’s cover just 1 of the reasons today.

𝘙𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘚𝘭𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘴 𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘍𝘶𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘐𝘯𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯!

As many of you know, I LOVE foxes. 🦊 And if you didn’t know… the main focal point of my tattoo sleeve is a red fox, so that’s probably a dead giveaway😉😂
When I was in MB last month, I spotted a red fox dart across a grid road — so naturally, my photographer brain thought “I need to investigate.”

I ended up sitting in a ditch for probably an hour while it was drizzling, photographing 3 curious little fox kits as they played, explored, and occasionally stopped to check out the strange woman sitting in the grass with a giant camera😂

While I was taking photos of 1 kit, I heard a noise VERY close to me. I lowered my camera and, to my absolute surprise — one of the 3 kits had crept up to me and was not even a full arm’s length away!😍I was so caught off guard that I gasped — which startled the poor little thing & off it ran😂 But MY WORD. What an experience!♥️ For someone who absolutely adores foxes, having one decide on its own that it needed to come investigate me is something I won’t be forgetting anytime soon🥹🦊 And because I know someone will probably wonder: No, I wouldn’t have touched it — even though I easily could have.

Wildlife is still wildlife, no matter how adorable, fluffy, or seemingly friendly it may be. If you’re ever lucky enough to have a wild animal come that close to you, enjoy the incredible moment — but please let them be wild and resist the temptation to touch or handle them❤️And here’s your slightly less-cute fox fact of the day: foxes can carry parasites like fleas and can also carry diseases such as rabies. 😬 I certainly had no reason to believe these little guys were rabid, but with the amount of scratching they were doing… fleas were definitely a possibility!
Still easily one of the coolest wildlife encounters I’ve had🥰

What an incredible long weekend! ❤️

I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who helped make our ℍ𝕠𝕣𝕤𝕖𝕡𝕠𝕨𝕖𝕣 & 𝓗𝓲𝓰𝓱 𝓗𝓮𝓮𝓵𝓼 Pinup Contest in Moose Jaw on August 1st such a success.

Whether you were a contestant, organizer, sponsor, volunteer, judge, or one of our wonderful spectators (𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘸𝘩𝘰𝘮 𝘫𝘶𝘮𝘱𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱 𝘢𝘴 𝘶𝘯𝘰𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 “𝘨𝘰𝘱𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴” 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘢𝘺!), thank you from the bottom of my heart. Events like this truly wouldn’t be possible without the time, hard work, generosity, and support of so many amazing people.
