Once again, it’s my favourite time of the year.
Once again, it’s fall. 🍁

The golden and red backdrops, the trails covered in fallen leaves, families walking together, little ones running around, laughter, warmth, stories, and memories being made.

This one is from last year at Heber Down in Whitby. One of my favourite sessions with a family I’ve been photographing since their eldest was a toddler.

And here we are again, with a new fall, new colours, and new stories waiting to unfold.

Looking forward to meeting some familiar faces and making new friends along the way.

Because they were dancing!

“What were YOU doing?”

What do people do on a dance floor? They dance! Duh!

“So?”

I was dancing too!

“With a camera?”

YES! Of course! And that’s why the pictures are shaky. Duh!

Anything under the sun, when this lady does it with her heart, turns into an epitome of class, taste and elegance. Be it the concerts she organizes (of course, with me 😉), or the Thanksgiving dinner at her place, she always knows how to make a statement.

I didn’t take my camera this time! Had to borrow Biplob Bhai’s one, and he was kind enough to let me use it. How could I resist taking a few shots of the mouthwatering food and those magical decors? 😍

I am unapologetically biased towards brides wearing red. ❤️

Before every wedding, I ask the bride and groom what they’re planning to wear. And every time I hear “red”, a little smile appears on my face. I just can’t help it!

Isn’t she beautiful? Other colours have their own charm, I know. But red has something… something truly majestic. There’s a kind of magic in it that I can never quite explain.

I know I am biased. And I’m not even trying to fix that. 😉

It’s a story of Q and A.

I started photographing them last year, when Q asked A - "Will you marry me?"
And A answered with a smile, tears of joy, and a beautiful “Yes, I will.”

Since that proposal, I have taken more than 7,000 photos of these two, covering their Mehendi, Gaye Holud, Nikah and reception.

And, I’m so, so happy with how the pictures turned out.

Among more than 2,000 edited photos, choosing what to share and what not to share is almost impossible. Because somehow, all of them are my favourites; just like the couple themselves.

So, helpless photographer that I am, I’ll probably be posting photos of Qays and Afrida from time to time. 😄

Downtown was bursting with joy that day.

Dundas Square had an event going on, with loud music, hundreds of people shouting their hearts out, winning prizes, dancing and laughing. And we were there, adding a little more juice to the festive air.

Trisha and Daniel were such good sports. A little shaky at first about stopping the traffic for the photoshoot, but when the passersby started joining our fun and congratulating them on tying the knot, they just became themselves.

And that’s when the magic happened.
