The wedding weekend of Michelle and Royban remains etched in my memory, a celebration that I continue to look back on. Brimming with love, tradition, and a heartfelt tribute to their families and loved ones, it was an unforgettable experience.

Khmer weddings are a culturally rich affair with traditions and rituals that have been passed down through generations. In an homage to Royban's heritage, the couple incorporated diverse customs into their celebration. From the reverent tea ceremonies honoring ancestors to the symbolic hair-cutting ritual, the blessings bestowed by a Buddhist monk, and the meaningful knot-tying ceremony, each element added a profound layer of significance to their union.

Kitty Dich was like an older sister to me and Jennifer growing up, so it was an instant yes when she asked for our help.

From when we were just kids playing around in their house, to now getting right down to business in the same place. It was a beautiful summer celebration with all of your friends and our families. Congratulations to Kitty and Patrick!

With 5 days left in the year, I've been taking some time to think about all of the amazing couples I got to know. All of the work to plan out ideas and then document their connections through pictures has been incredibly rewarding.

Michelle and Royban has been one of them. They came over from Vancouver Island with his vintage Camaro in tow and we shot a sexy engagement session at Stanley Park.

Third times a charm for Kuleba and Pirabu's engagement and it totally paid off for these golden moments. We had to reschedule twice since June because of the sunmer haze and unpredictable weather. Can't wait to celebrate with them for their wedding!

It's great seeing more couples wanting to recreate their wedding day memories with a "pre-wedding session." Even though the restrictions may have changed their original plans, I love seeing couples wanting to make time to celebrate their partnership. It's more intimate, more unique and a great opportunity to appreciate one another while looking their best together.
