Oh hey friends 👋 yep, still alive over here. Between wedding season, mom life and forgetting about my coffee in the microwave 🤣 the socials have taken a bit of a back seat.

But, I’m still here and just popping in to post a session from awhile ago 🫣 These two are getting married later this year and I’m SO freaking excited 🫶

This is why I will die on the hill of including engagement photos in my wedding packages. It gives us time to hang out, get to know each other and takes a bit of pressure off before the big day. And every single time… magic like this happens ✨

I was so excited when K reached out and asked if I would document their announcement ✨🐣

The day of was rainy, and the drive out to our location felt like a bit of a rollercoaster, if I’m being honest 🙈 rain, sun, clouds… all of it. Their session started with a golden sunset and ended with those moody, PNW forest vibes I love so much.

I’ve really been leaning into storytelling with my photography lately, and the more I think about it… I think I’ve always been a storyteller.

I’ve always been the one to retell memories, making people laugh by dragging out a story way longer than necessary (because the details matter, obvi 😅).

And I think that’s what I’m chasing during a session ✨ the details, the in-between, the big picture, the quiet glances and laughter. Your story.

Maybe that’s where my love for photography really comes from 💛
