One of the coolest parts of this job is the people I get to meet along the way. Like Emilie, the wedding coordinator over at Stonewall Estates Winery

A few months ago, she was kind enough to let me come photograph a proposal on the property, so when she reached out and asked me to take some portraits of her, I was pretty friggen excited. She's one of those people who's just genuinely lovely to be around, and I love when a random connection turns into getting to work together again.

Went for football. Left with cheerleader portraits. Not mad about it. 📣

I was at a recent football scrimmage and managed to snag some photos of the senior girls from Eden High School's cheer team!

I love getting to photograph these kids doing what they love, especially in their graduating year. These are the little things they'll look back on years from now and I'm just happy I got to capture a few of them.

Also, consider this your reminder that senior photos don't have to be all dressed up in a pretty field somewhere. Show me what you love doing and let's make some memories out of it.

Senior portraits are even better when you bring your bestie. 💛

Emma and Hailey showed up ready to celebrate their senior year together and I absolutely LOVE that they wanted to make these memories side by side. Because honestly, what's better than having photos with the person who's been right there through all the chaos?

But there was one extra special girl who joined us. Sweet Ella, Hailey's dog. 🐾

Ella is approaching end of life care and it's one of those heartbreaking reminders that we never get nearly enough time with our dogs. Having her there wasn't just about including the family pet. It was about making sure Hailey has these moments with her girl to look back on for years to come.

The big milestones deserve to be documented, but so do the little things and the ones we love along the way.

Hug your dogs a little tighter today. And for the love of everything, bring them to your photo sessions. Always. 💛

Can we please normalize making a ridiculously big deal out of graduating high school?!

Like, you've survived group projects, questionable life choices, awkward phases and approximately a million people asking what you're doing with the rest of your life. I think that deserves a whole damn photoshoot.

Anyway, meet Kohl.

This kid has been a pain in my ass since he was in Grade 4 and I've absolutely adored him ever since. 💛 And now look at him! All grown up and getting ready to take on the world. Which is honestly a little rude because I'm pretty sure he was JUST a little kid.

Senior photos are about so much more than graduation. They're about capturing you exactly as you are in this weird, exciting, in-between stage of life. The confidence, the personality, the questionable fashion choices you'll probably laugh at in 20 years. ALL OF IT.

On November 14th, we're taking over the beautiful Rose Suite at Rose Manor in Welland for some seriously cozy Christmas photos. Picture a king-sized bed, lots of greenery, Christmas jammies and all the snuggly goodness of a slow Christmas morning.

Bring the kids, pile onto the bed, have a tickle fight, sneak a kiss or just cuddle up with your favourite people. These sessions are all about capturing those sweet, silly and wonderfully chaotic moments that make your family yours.

Sessions are $250 + HST for 20 minutes and include 5 digital images. You'll also get a quick turnaround so you can get those holiday cards ordered and cross one more thing off your Christmas to-do list.

Michael had a pretty important question to ask Michelle at Ball's Falls and naturally, their sweet girl had to be there for the occasion. 🥹💛

She was an absolute angel, took her job as emotional support pup very seriously and honestly deserves some credit for how smoothly everything went.

Oh, and Michelle said YES, by the way. 😂💍

A pretty perfect day for this little family.
