Not every photo needs to be a pose!

Yes, we love a beautiful posed shot (because they’re pretty darn cute too ), but some of our favourite images happen when your dog is simply being themselves. The goofy faces, the zoomies, the splashing, the tongue-out moments… THAT is their personality.

Because the best memories aren’t always perfectly posed, sometimes they’re perfectly candid.

Meet Doon!

Last night, I had the sweetest session with this beautiful girl at the beach. There’s something so special about watching a dog completely come alive in their element — wet paws, wind in their fur, and nothing but the beach ahead!

Doon was such a joy to photograph, and I absolutely love how this moment captures her personality and that peaceful beach magic!
