Jannell and I have been working hard at creating a mini monty’s recipe book of recipes that have shaped Jannell’s journey as a chef. I’ve had the absolute best time working on this project together and can not wait for the release! Spring 2020, friends! 👏⁣⁣

The Jazz Room has been an ongoing client of mine since the beginning of the summer. I have been creating content for their Instagram and Facebook showcasing their musicians, board members, volunteers and sponsors. 📸⁣
⁣
I come in and photograph 4-5 amazing people per month, interview them and then create a post that posts. It has been so fun and also a bit different than just taking photos! ⁣
⁣
Thanks to for the behind the scenes shots! I will be creating a video showcasing this session from start to finish, so keep an eye out! 👀⁣

Some of you may know, I've been the photographer for the 's Shop Talk Series in the Shopify space and I've enjoyed doing that so much! 📸🌟⁣

By photographing the Shop Talk Series, the Shopify team saw my portfolio I had created from the Shop Talk Series in their space and I was actually hired by Shopify to photograph one of their events in the summer!⁣

Jannell and I spent a good chunk of September visiting the most amazing restaurants in DTK. We experienced the best food and wonderful company. ⁣⁣🥰

Headshot sessions have been in full swing! ⁣⁣

I have been working hard at making my business more visible by actually marketing myself. It was a huge leap for me to really start advertising my business properly, but it’s been paying off and I am proud of myself as a business owner and entrepreneur! ⁣

Happy Halloween!! 🎃 👻

I want to share this photo because there is a bit of a story behind it. Alyssa and I were doing a challenge a few weeks ago for Instagram and it involved using a pumpkin in some way. A couple weeks prior, I tried out long exposure photos in Haliburton and I was SO excited about the photos I captured that starry night.

I knew we had to create something so different than what everyone else would do. We wanted it to be creative and fun. I also knew we would need to have a calm, clear sky night in order for this photo to work out. Thankfully, we were blessed with a very clear night sky!

To paint the scene of the behind the scenes, I was all bundled up in a winter jacket and poor Alyssa had to stand COMPLETELY still with no coat for 13 seconds per frame for as long as the smoke bomb lasted which was about 2 minutes. Alyssa's boyfriend, Chad, was our creative assistant who toggled the flash AND made the smoke bomb go off. The dream team right here!

This type of photo takes a lot of thought and effort behind the scenes. I am so proud of what we created and I can't wait to see what the future holds with more creative branding shoots!

The bubbles created the most perfect framing of Alyssa and Sophie. This photo and all of my images are NOT photoshopped. Everything you see is 100% real! Thanks to these babes for absolutely killing it and being the boss women they are ✨👏🏻💗
