What does an outdoor pet photo session really look like? We go inside's Mac's session to see how we got some of his great images. 😁

The Guelph Humane Society ran a Cutest Pet Photo Contest in August and raised an amazing $10,750 for the work the Humane Society does. The top 3 pets in the contest each got a photo session with me as part of their prize package and we have finally gotten around to finishing up those sessions.

Meet Zeus! A handsome (and huge) tabby that is also an amazing model. He came in 3rd place in the Cutest Pet contest and received 1175 votes. We selected a background for his session that matches his gorgeous yellow eyes.

Thank you Zeus!

Melissa and Dan were looking for a session as a couple so we went on location in Victoria Park, which is beautiful this time of year by the way. We got some great light for their couples session and I love the glow around them in this one.

It is such a privilege to be able to photograph Bean. Bean is a 3 year old foster fail dog that originated from Korea. He has some challenges, sure, such as he has no eyes, but you would not know that about him when you meet him. He is so full of energy and fun-loving that I had a blast doing his photo session. It never ceases to amaze me how resilient our pet friends are and how much they love being our companions.

I will share a few more of him.

Are you ready for your fall photos? Fall is one of the best times of year to capture those images you want of you and/or your pets. The light is great. The colours are great. The temperatures are great.

I always feel privileged when I get to photograph .the.springer. He is active and full of so many fun facial expressions that we can get some unique shots of him. I think this one is my personal favourite as it has a bit of a 3D effect of him bursting through the vegetation with his crazy ears and flaming orange eyes.
