No forced smiles. No “everyone look at the camera and say cheese.” Just your family being exactly who you are together — laughing, playing, snuggling, chasing little ones around, and soaking up all those in-between moments that end up meaning the most.

I’ll give you just enough direction so you never have to wonder what to do, but the goal is always the same: photos that feel like you.

The kind that bring you right back to this season of your family every time you look at them. 🥹

Some families dream about seeing the world… and some decide to pack up their kiddos and actually go do it. ✈️🌎🤍

For the next couple YEARS, this beautiful family is setting off to travel the world together, making memories, experiencing new places, and giving their girls one seriously incredible childhood adventure.

And can we talk about how perfect it was that they booked a session around a plane before taking off on this next chapter?! I absolutely loved getting to capture them at the beginning of such a huge adventure.

I’m not even going to pretend I’m not a little jealous 😂 What an incredible opportunity for their family. I cannot wait to follow along on their journey, see where the next three years take them, and live a little vicariously through all of their adventures.

Here’s to chasing big dreams, seeing the world, and taking your babies along for the ride. ✈️🤍🌎

There’s never really a “perfect” time to book newborn photos.

You might think you’ll wait until you’ve had the baby… until you’ve caught up on sleep… until you feel a little more like yourself again.

But those first weeks have a way of passing faster than you expect. 🤍

The tiny toes. The wrinkly little feet. The way they curl into you. The sleepy faces and impossibly small fingers. They change so quickly—and while you think you’ll remember every little detail, time has a way of softening them.

That’s why I always recommend booking your newborn session before baby arrives.

You don’t need to know exactly when they’ll be born. We’ll reserve space around your due date, and once your little one arrives, we’ll choose the perfect day for your session together.

One less thing to think about during those sleepy newborn days—and photographs that will only become more precious as the years go by.

The sweet little song is for you. My actual session audio? A little less… aesthetic. 😂

If you’ve ever wondered what a session with me actually sounds like, there’s a whole lot of ridiculous noises, made-up games, over-the-top reactions, and me doing whatever it takes to get those REAL smiles.

Because I’m not here to spend an hour saying, “Look at me! Smile!” I want your kids to play. I want them to forget there’s a camera there. I want the belly laughs, the silly faces, the way they light up when Mom or Dad joins in, and all those little in-between moments you couldn’t pose if you tried.

My sessions are completely play-based because I’m not just looking for smiles — I’m looking for connection, personality, and the way your family feels together.

And if that means sacrificing my dignity and making some truly questionable sounds behind the camera… so be it. 😂🤷‍♀️

The truth is, I am TERRIBLE at posting anywhere other than my Instagram stories. Stories are quick. They’re easy. There’s no overthinking. I can throw something up there and carry on with my day.

Meanwhile, I have approximately 847 amazing sessions sitting in my camera roll that I keep telling myself I’m going to share “soon.” 🙃

Every few weeks I convince myself that THIS is the week I’m finally going to get better at posting. I’m going to make the reels. Share the sessions. Show you all the beautiful, hilarious, chaotic, ridiculously good stuff I’ve been lucky enough to photograph.

And then… I don’t. 😂

So consider this me trying again.

And also consider this your friendly reminder that my calendar for the next few months is already starting to fill up. So if you’ve been thinking about booking a session, don’t wait for me to become good at Instagram before you message me. We could be waiting a very long time.

I feel like I haven’t shared a cake smash in forever… and I honestly can’t believe this one has been sitting in my camera roll since spring! 🥹🎂 This was definitely one of my favorites, and it’s about time it got its moment on the feed!

There’s just something so special about celebrating that FIRST birthday. 🤍 One whole year of growing, learning, changing, and becoming their own little person — it’s such a huge milestone, so why not celebrate it with something you’ll be able to look back on forever?

Cake smash sessions are completely customized to YOU! ✨ Whether you have a specific theme in mind, a favorite color palette, something inspired by your little one’s personality, or you need some help dreaming it all up, we can create a setup that feels perfect for your babe.

And of course, the best part is letting them dig in, get messy, and see what they think of their cake! 🎂 Some babies dive right in, some carefully inspect every crumb, and some want absolutely nothing to do with it 😂 — and honestly, that’s what makes every session so much fun and completely unique.

Cake smashes are typically booked about 3–4 weeks BEFORE your little one’s birthday so there’s plenty of time for your gallery to be edited and delivered before the big day. This is especially helpful if you’re hoping to use the photos for birthday invitations, party decor, or to share on their actual birthday!

They only turn ONE once. 🥹 Let’s make a little mess, eat some cake, and create something you’ll always have to remember this season. 🎈🎂🤍

These dreamy newborn expressions are some of my favorite moments to capture. 🤍

From tiny smirks and sleepy stretches to curious little frowns and the biggest, heart-melting smiles, every expression tells a tiny piece of their story. They change so quickly in those first few weeks, making these little moments all the more precious.

Getting to preserve this season for families is one of the most fulfilling parts of what I do. Knowing these photos will bring you right back to how tiny they were and all the sweet little faces they made is such an incredible privilege.

There seems to be something in the air lately.

Babies are being welcomed. Seasons are changing. Businesses are evolving. Life has a way of asking us to grow, even when growth feels a little uncomfortable.

I’ve been sitting with that a lot lately.

Sometimes the next chapter asks us to let go of what’s familiar so we can make room for what’s next. It asks us to trust the value of what we’re building, honour the season we’re in, and move forward with intention.

These photos are a beautiful reminder that growth isn’t always loud. Sometimes it looks like quiet anticipation. Like preparing for what’s coming before anyone else can see it.

Here’s to new seasons—in life, in business, and in all the ways we’re constantly becoming. 🤍
