WORLD PHOTOGRAPHY DAY
Today is - a day to celebrate a phenomenon invented in 1826 by a French inventor, which has undergone many transformations since then.
For me, photography is not only a profession and passion - it is also my inspiration, my challenge, my creative outlet, and certainly my ticket to adventure!
Many of my best moments in life have happened behind a camera.
However, the most rewarding part of photography for me is when I can inspire others to enjoy and protect the nature I photograph and, even better, help them create their own photographic memories.

- Galapagos, here we come -
After the stunning trip to the Cloud forest, we went back to Quito.
From there we flew to Baltra, a small island right next to Santa Cruz Island.
After a quick shuttle we were ready to embark our home away from home for the next weeks, the beautiful Samba!
And without missing a step we headed right for Mosquera Islet ( the reddish1 on the map)- where we watched lava herons catch crabs, sealions playing, nursing and napping, frigatebirds training for the future and witnessing the most beautiful sunset

Lizards come in all sizes and colors and are fascinating creatures.
Here - a Lava lizard using a marine iguana as lookout. I wonder what the Iguana thinks of that…..?

Cloud Forest - Ecuador.
I am in the process of looking through and editing the images of my absolutely amazing trip to Galapagos.
We arrived a few days early to wander through Quito, more about that later, before we met with the rest of the group.
The tour started with a two day immersion into the Cloud Forest.
