Flat lays are more than just pretty photos. They tell part of your story by highlighting all the small, intentional details you spent time choosing. Years from now, they will remind you not just how your day looked, but how it felt.

For B + D’s wedding, we had intentional space in the timeline to create flatlays. From the rehearsal dinner to getting ready to nighttime flatlays (a new personal favourite as you may know).

It is one of the calmest and most creative parts of the day for me, where we can slow down and focus on all the pieces you chose so intentionally.

Pro Tip: Pack your flat lay items in a small box or pouch and ask someone you trust to hand them off to me on the wedding morning. And don’t forget to ask your florist for a few extra stems or buds just for styling.

Shoutout to the planner Vanessa for hunting down so many details we were able to include in these photos. She’s a real one 🫡

Speeches are all wrapped up and everyone is ready to let loose. It feels like the entire room lets loose a breath in this moment.

When you can see mom bust out the moves you did (or didn’t) know she had or your friends screaming the songs from when you were in high school.

Grandma and grandpa get on the dance floor for a song or two before heading home.

The kids are up on the shoulders of friends or swinging in circles. Some of the best times of any wedding.
