I shot a roll of 🎞️: Cinestill Phoenix II over the course of the winter and I have to say I wasn't really crazy about the results. I don't know if I shot it wrong or this is just the way it is. It came out muddy, super grainy and I did not like the color grading on it. On some of these below where I did shoot with clear blue skies I've significantly cooled down the temp in lightroom because I just couldn't stand the tone. Maybe the best ones were the sunset pics, but they still lacked any clarity, sharpness or shadow details. I'm curious if anyone else has shot this film and had better success or maybe this is just the way it is and some peeps like it that way?

Some film from a recent walkabout on a trip to Toronto - 🎞️ Ektar 100/Nikon FE using just a nifty 50mm - I really love this little camera. I like this film - I like the color rendition it gives, and the detail you can find in the shadows.
