finally, an Instagram update I’m here for!! this is from a dreamy session last year in jordan river, one of my favourite places ever. my first elopement of 2023 will be right in this same spot and I can’t wait for it. I’m totally down to head back for any other couples wanting to elope in a place that feels like literal magic. ✨

thank you to all of my couples who choose to spend their day with me capturing all of the moments, I never take that honour for granted. there’s nothing that makes me happier than capturing precious milestones to cherish forever n ever. 🥰

it’s me. hi. ( + sean) 🥹

I’ve been editing away to get pretty much all of the galleries on my queue out by the end of the month. It’s been a crazy busy year but so fulfilling with amazing, wonderful couples.

In this year alone I photographed 36 couples tying the knot + 52 sessions. I hosted my first ever in May as well as hosted 6 shootout days for photographers. It’s been a VERY busy year and that being said, I will be focusing the majority of my time between December-February on my loved ones as I haven’t been very present with them since the pandemic started. I love my family and I’m so excited to be able to bring my life back to balance after three years of trying to do it all, but only being human.

To be honest with you all, this month has been hard on my heart. My friends car was recently broken into and they stole all of our things. This included my laptop, some of my camera gear and all of the personal belongings I had with me(my clothes, my makeup, down to my hair brush and tooth brush) they were ruthless. We hadn’t checked into our Airbnb yet so they literally took everything within 15 minutes of us leaving our car. All of my photos are safe and everything that couldn’t be replaced is safe, except the very first letter my boyfriend wrote me. This was what brought me to sobbing tears because if you know me, I’m a very sentimental person and my heart is still aching over losing that letter.

Thank you all for your patience and kindness with me. Thank you for to my clients for understanding the overwhelming amount of editing I had this year. Thank you to my friends and family for their endless support and understanding of why I haven’t been very present with them for a while. Thank you to Sean for making me laugh times when all I want to do is cry. Whoever broke into the car also stole my keys and with it a Queen of Hearts card Sean gave me to be cheesy and I love it so much. When I got home, he hugged me and gave me the 10 of Hearts writing “you’re a 10/10” and I just.. wow. Sean, I love you so much. I’m so lucky to be loved by you.

I had the best time capturing these two cuties on their most special day. The Taylor Swift ‘love story’ vibes were strong.

True story: every time I go for “the dress” shot, I always end up talking about the Love Story music video cause it’s truly so iconic. ✨

I’m going to be finishing up a ton of galleries this month + finally catching up with more posting! There’s just so much to share from this year and I can’t wait to gush about more of the epic love stories I captured this year. 🥹

all black and white set for m + j’s elopement in Tofino this past summer 🖤 I’m so dang happy to finally share this glimpse of m + j’s sweetness for one another.

even though Tofino was crowded with tourists, we still found some beauty spots to soak in natures sounds. the seagulls and waves will forever reply in my mind when looking back at these. 🥹

Capturing getting ready photos will never fail to make me incredibly emotional and sentimental. The anticipation you can feel in the room feels like nostalgic butterflies and in that moment, it really does feel like a movie.

I have had many of my couples open up to me about how their day felt like a total blur and the photos are what brought them back to how their day unfolded and how they can always cherish it from so many different perspectives. This is such an incredible honour and I never take for granted the importance of my job. Capturing memories and authentic emotion is why I focus on capturing candid, cinematic feeling photos that make your day feel like it was just like the movies.

I’m a believer in magic and I’m so lucky to witness the magic of love as often as I do. The love felt between lovers, between family and friends, between the connection humans have with their own beings. It’s all so special. I’m here for it all.

This moment Bride J had with her mom as she put on her wedding dress was breathtaking. The way her grandma also peered around the corner of the hallway melted my heart. Bride J got ready at her grandma’s house and it was so precious to have her there on this day too. Moments like these are why I’m so in love with wedding photography.

I’m often asked “what’s your favourite thing to photograph?” Every single time - my answer will always be candid moments. I don’t like to ‘pose’ my couples too much. The majority of our time together will be all about having you two love up on each other and focus on having the best time together.

Each and every couple I meet is different and I find that so exciting. I love learning about your love story and bringing it out in your photos. I don’t want you to just see your love, I want you to 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭 it too.

m + j wanted their day to be focused around what’s most important to them. They love Tofino and the west coast beaches so naturally, we spent their elopement frocking along some of best hidden gem locations. Tofino is like a second home to me and I’ve gone every single year since I was a baby. Every time I go, no matter what the weather is - I’m speechless. I love this place. 🫶🏼
