THE EDGE OF YESTERDAY
Some places don’t feel discovered.
They feel remembered.
I found this scene completely by accident while searching for foggy coastal landscapes in British Columbia. I had spent the morning chasing locations that no longer existed the way I remembered them. One by one, the scenes I had hoped to photograph had changed, disappeared, or simply lost the atmosphere I was searching for.
Then, by pure luck, I stumbled across this quiet, weathered fishing village.
The moment I stepped out and looked across the marsh, I knew I had found something special. Hidden behind the modern world was a place that felt untouched by time. Standing there in the fog, it felt less like discovering a location and more like discovering a memory.
That overwhelming feeling—that this place somehow existed somewhere between past and present—became the inspiration for The Edge of Yesterday.
