A charming pair of Juncos have chosen my balcony garden as the site for their nest, carefully built among the flower pots and now home to four eggs. I am thrilled by this turn of events. With the nest positioned at eye level, I am able to monitor it closely, and the mother seems tolerant of my presence. She often flits about, seemingly as intrigued by me as I am by her. Recalling a similar experience from a few years ago, where the babies successfully took flight, I am excited to see the new arrivals this year. 🪺 🐦 🤩💗🪴
