Ya’ll probably know one of my favorite songs is “Gary” by .wilson.jr … Imagine how delighted I was to meet Gary IRL.

I’ve been looking at this PBY Catalina for months from across the runway at work - we had to go over there to do some work on a heli, when we were done I went and poked my head in this guys hangar, introduced myself and asked if I could take some photos of his plane. The first thing Gary said is, “Do you want to go in it?” … Yes Gary, you’re making this photographer/aircraft girlies dreams come true.

Fell a little short on some focus here because I was too excited, but I had the most fun & met my new friend Gary(& his little pup Pansy), that’s what matters.
