VMRO - a love letter in photos

Anyone who is in the helicopter maintenance industry should be attending this conference. I can’t say enough good things, thank you for creating this much-needed space for engineers to gather, connect, refresh the mind, and have a little fun. I can’t wait until next year - see you in 2027!

1 year ago Lindsey Blane gave me my first ever media pass for the pit. I wrote in the application that I had just moved to Victoria, that I did sports photography, and that I was desperate to make some new friends in this city. She approved me & I am forever grateful for this experience.

Did I do everything right? No

Have I become an even better photographer because of this? Yes

Even sifting through these to pick some makes me want go re-edit all of them. I have invested in myself and I’ve invested in my gear since then so it absolutely does feel disappointing to not have Rifflandia or a big event to look forward to this summer. But, onwards and upwards I guess, still grateful.

Instagram has put me in horizontal jail, so enjoy these mostly partial photos.
