📍 Mill Bay Marina
ca is that restaurant you can see on stilts over the water. You can literally pull up with your boat and walk to your table. Patio looks straight out at Mount Baker and the Gulf Islands.
They do half price wings on Wednesdays, pizza nights on Fridays, and a Sunday brunch that’s worth the 30 min drive from Victoria. Happy hour is daily 3–5pm if you need an excuse.
The marina also runs whale watching, fishing charters, and sunset cruises out of here. It’s a whole afternoon if you want it to be.

🌍 Captured the Goldstream River flowing into the Saanich Inlet at Finlayson Arm. You can see the Goldstream Boathouse Marina in the distance and the small Sawluctus Island.
This area is surrounded by lush rainforests, part of the Goldstream Provincial Park, known for its annual salmon run and rich biodiversity. The inlet eventually connects to the Pacific Ocean via the Haro Strait, making it a vital waterway for both nature and history enthusiasts. 🌊⛰️
