One of the biggest reasons people hesitate to book farm sessions is the drive... but after photographing families for over 16 years, I can honestly say it’s never the issue people think it will be.

The reality is, we live in Toronto and the surrounding suburbs. If you want animal farms, sunflower fields, apple orchards, Christmas tree farms, lavender fields, and other breathtaking locations, they’re usually a minimum of 30 minutes to an hour or more away.

And you know what? The drive is always worth it.

Kids love exploring, seeing animals, and running through open fields. With a few snacks, some car games, and arriving a little early, they settle in quickly and often end up having more fun than anyone expected.

Some of my favourite family galleries have come from locations that required a little extra travel. ❤️
