✨✨ FUNDRAISER DRAW✨✨ PLEASE READ
Hello everyone! This is a draw to win a $500 Timberline Photography gift certificate OR a 24 gun safe ($1150 value) donated by Nechako Outdoors. All you have to do is buy a sticker! Each sticker you purchase is an entry into the draw, stickers are $20 each. First name drawn will get to choose their prize, second name will get whichever item is left!
The proceeds from this fundraiser will go to my dear friend Mia Funk. Im sure a lot of you know her story or have at least heard some of it. Mia fought cancer 3 times in her teens and early twenties and had several big operations and many rounds of chemo. As a result she’s suffered permanent health issues and severe chronic pain, and in the past year her health has unfortunately declined even further. In February after months of waiting she got a scope where they sent tissues for biopsy and was then sent to Vancouver for further scans and testing. Results so far have been back and forth and ultimately inconclusive. Searching for answers and quality of life she has been getting alternative treatments through the private medical sector and naturopathic medicine - which has been incredibly expensive. Mia will be heading back down to Vancouver this month for further testing and we don’t know yet how long she’ll be down there or what treatment is going to look like.
Needless to say she hasn’t been able to work for months already and may not be able to for quite some time as they try to figure out what’s causing all her pain and illness. I am hoping to help lessen the blow financially so she and her fiancé can face this together.
