One thing couples ask me all the time: “Do we really need a second photographer?”
Short answer? Not always. A LOT of weddings are beautifully covered with just me 🤍 But depending on your day, having a second photographer can be super helpful.

A few reasons why couples choose to add one:

• You’re getting ready in different locations and want both perspectives covered
• More candid moments throughout the day (guest reactions, cocktail hour, parents, little in-between moments, etc.)
• Extra angles during the ceremony and speeches
• Things tend to run a bit smoother/faster during portraits and family photos
• More overall coverage of the story of your day from start to finish
That being said — if your wedding is smaller, more intimate, all in one location, or you simply don’t feel like you need two photographers… that is completely okay too.
At the end of the day, it’s less about “more photographers = better wedding” and more about choosing coverage that actually makes sense for your day 🫶

Popping in with a little face behind the feed moment! I realized it’s been a while since I properly introduced myself, so hi—I’m Julie, the gal behind the camera, the captions, and probably way too much coffee. If you’re new here, welcome! I’m so happy you’re here! 🫶🏼
I’ve been in the industry for over 5 years, but took the leap and went full time last May—and wow, what a ride it’s been. I still can’t believe this is my actual job… getting to do what I love every single day with the most incredible people? I don’t take it for granted for a second!
When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll usually find me with a book in hand, on the golf course, or out camping. And if there’s a dog, horse, or cow around… you better believe I’m saying hi!
Feeling so grateful, so lucky, and just honestly so damn excited for everything ahead! 2025 wedding season, here I come! 💛
