BC Birds for Connor and Jess

This is one of my favourite images from 2021! It was made during the Winter Birds of Vancouver Workshop, which I lead alongside Jess Findlay Photography.

Quite often our guests from out of town tell us that they don't have much interest in visiting Barred Owl sites. Their minds always quickly change when they see the beautiful forest settings that we photograph this species in. I'm looking forward to showing our 2022 groups these impressive birds.
