West End Urban Future Quilt This Car Free Day the Downtown Vancouver Association is asking what makes the West End great and what could make it even better?

Join us on Sunday June 16 on the 900 Block of Denman Street. Add your pictures and hopes of Our West End in all of its glory. On Sunday June 16th 2013 we will be presenting a number of activities to engage the people of the West End as part of CAR FREE DAY to envision a shared future for our Neighbourhood. Come on Down (We'll be across from the West End Community Centre on the 900 Block of Denman

from Noon till 6pm)
Share your Ideas (What makes the West End community so great?)
Present your Hopes (Display your dreams with a West End Wish Flag)
Make a Statement (Take a portrait at our ideas photo booth or join us on twitter )
Make a Community “Quilt” (Intensive group sessions will be held at intervals throughout the Event Note: Sewing will not be required)
Add to the West End’s Future (We will collect and present these contributions to add to the City’s Neighbourhood Planning Process)
