- in a light sleep I saw the one I love now I hang on to this thing they call dreams -
- Tanka by Ono no Komachi, Japanese poet, Heian aera (between 794 - 1185) -
pigment inks on washi Japanese paper and sumi ink brush calligraphy, with individually applied Genuine Gold Leaf;
- for these works I like to use the traditional henteigana script style which was used for literary works and poetry, although it is, since the turn of the last century, not in common daily use anymore -

- koi wo ete hotaru wa kusa ni shizumi keri - fresh in love fireflies have sunk deep into the grass -
- Suzuki Masajo (Masa), Japanese female poet, 1906 - 2003 was considered to be one of the most distinguished contemporary love haiku poets;
