2024 was full of special connections. I got to see many families I've documented for years, and was so happy to connect with new friends too. You might notice that social media isn't always my priority, but I always post when I have travel sign-ups ready. I plan to visit Michigan and California a few times in 2025, and probably Portland, Oregon too! If my Lifestyle Session approach (easy going sessions - less look at the camera and more candid interaction) is a good match for you, reach out any time to let me know you're interested and I'll give you a shout when I'm headed your way next! In the meantime, I'm enjoying a quiet winter and looking forward to opening up sessions here in Vancouver in the new year too.

The break from photo sessions during these quiet months of winter always renews my appreciation and love for them. I love the way that documenting in this way captures what changes and what stays. What it means to look and really see each other at a particular time in our lives. February was my dad's birthday month, and also the birthday of another little buddy I've been lucky enough to document over the years. All of it has me looking through the archives and feeling ready to add more to the collection.

It goes so fast. Let's mark the moment.

I'll be in California for sessions April 19 & 20 and I'd love to see you. A Michigan trip is in the works too- stay tuned.
