For all the birthers out there with due dates coming up, I encourage you to find some calm in all this hysteria. With the unknown effects of this virus on unborn or newborn babies it can be easy to get caught up in a google induced rabbit hole. I challenge you instead to do some research on the safety of home birth for low risk birthers. There are large scale, scientific studies available to read that may help you form a plan that is not only safe, but can bring you some peace in this crazy moment we are in. If you don’t have a midwife, call clinics and see if anyone has space to take you on. Not sure you can manage a drug free birth? With the right support, ANYONE can. Hire a doula. Learn about alternative pain relief methods that work. Focus on a positive and healthy experience, and come up with a plan to make it a reality. .

I am so grateful to all the badass women who have welcomed me into their birthing spaces. Watching the power and grace of every single person I have witnessed bring life into the world is an incredible privilege. I celebrate each and every one of you 365 days a year. ***UPDATE: ADOPTED!***This little beauty is the snuggliest snuggle bug there is. She can be found lounging, snuggling or searching for the next place to get pets. She is also teeny tiny, which amps up the cute factor exponentially. She has been well socialized with kids of all ages, and our family dog. She’s loved by everyone and comfortable with everyone.

Luigi is our resident fluff ball. He will do just about anything for a good long tummy rub, and makes the most adorable trilling sounds to signal to his litter mates that it’s time for a game of chase. Luigi is also a tank, and with all that fur he looks about 2 times the size of his brothers and sister. He’s got the most adorable wobble when he walks and is such a loving little kitten.
