One of my favorite projects was when one of my high-resolution panoramic photographs of the Grand Canyon was installed in the Arizona House of Representatives building. The image was split into 22 panels, each around 16 feet tall, creating a powerful visual presence that spanned the walls of the House Chamber, towering over the legislative floor.

Wow! I have not posted anything in such a long time here in FB. I have to admit I've been so preoccupied with other things that social media has taken the back seat on priorities in life.. lol.

I have still been very productive and busy on the photography front - mostly working with commissioned clients and projects, thus not sharing or posting on social media.

That being said, I have finally had time to create something new, and while it is not quite finished yet, here is a panoramic photo of the Vancouver Skyline with a more artistic approach.

The image at the top is the "entire image", and in it you see a green square which points to the lower left image (which is what that section looks like zoomed in), and then that image has a green square image that points to the lower right which is the zoomed-in a crop of that area.

In all this is a 3.1-gigapixel image with a default printing size of over 30 feet wide!

Here is a complete departure of my "massive panos" to say the least, lol.

It was a fun mini project I did a few years back for the fun of it, and though I would share it.

What you are looking at is an animated photograph (so originally a still photo of an actual physical object), so no CGI involved.

Can you guess what this is?

I know I've been super quiet on social media as of late, but things are still happening! While I've been selling prints for years, my typical print is not the typical size. Most of them are odd ratios such as 4:1 and 2:1, and I don't offer anything under 4 feet wide.

I'm now happy to offer more of the standard size prints via 3rd party vendor, and they just wrote an article for me. Here you go!
