The MacIsaac Health Building, at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver we photographed for Perkins&Will Vancouver Schmidt Hammer Lassen Perkins&Will

The approximately 25,000 m² facility brings together a diverse mix of academic and research functions related to health sciences. The design encourages movement, social interaction, and interdisciplinary collaboration through its open circulation network and six-storey skylit atrium, that serves as the vibrant social heart of the building.

Shebara Shebara is one of the places where architecture becomes part of the horizon.
Floating above the Red Sea, these sculptural forms seem almost unreal — somewhere between architecture, landscape and a vision of the future. I really love how the interior design avoids feeling separate from the architecture. The furniture follows the curves of the space, the materials bring warmth and depth, and the natural light becomes another element of the design.
