Just playing around with my replacement flash (I lost my previous flash on the skytrain, and wasn't found/likely stolen) with a good friend of mine, who I volunteered with for over 3 years. Results turned out interesting, and this photo is by far my favourite shot of the day, as we played with the sun itself at Burnaby's Central Park! ;D

Inspired by the "365 Days of Danboard" photo set by Arielle Nadel, who's photography inspired the series of Danbo Adventures.

The Danbo Model kit I was using was given to me by a friend, as part of the Secret Santa present. I used my own backyard as a setting, it was raining at the time when the photo was taken. I want to show rain drops as if it's gazing up at the sky, giving a sentimental look and feel of living in "Rainy Vancouver".

Also, the scene itself is inspired by an animated movie that was directed by Makoto Shinkai, called The Garden of Words, where the color green dominates the color palette of the movie. The color green represents harmony and balance.
