🏡 11-Year-Old German Shorthaired Pointer Looking for a New Home
Meet Charlie! ❤️ This handsome, 11-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer is looking for a loving new home where he can enjoy his golden years surrounded by people who adore him.
Charlie is a people-loving, cuddly boy with lots of energy and plenty of affection to give. He loves being around people and is reported to get along well with dogs of all sizes, cats, and children!
Charlie is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows basic obedience commands. He hasn’t had formal obedience training, but he’s a smart boy who already knows the basics!
❤️ A Few Things to Know About Charlie
Despite being a senior gentleman, Charlie still has lots of energy and will need a home that can provide him with appropriate exercise, attention, and companionship.
Charlie has some known allergies, although the specific triggers are unknown, and he tends to develop ear infections in the fall. He may also have some arthritis, so his future family should be prepared to monitor his comfort and discuss any ongoing needs with their veterinarian.
Charlie’s family is looking to find him a new home due to changing circumstances and difficulty meeting his care and exercise needs. They want to find a home where he can receive the time, attention, and care he deserves.
