México City, , one year later. I have little time to post with a little one these days, but some photographs are worth the effort. I read somewhere that architecture is like frozen music, and I couldn’t agree more. The attention to detail in the way the light hits the interiors was unreal. I’ve never experienced such bold and refreshing use of color, with rooms and shelves filled with artisan-made goods, and walking through gardens inspired by the natural lava landscape. Luis Barragan is a genius, and I can’t recommend his architecture tours in Mexico City more.
We’ll be in México City and Oaxaca for the first two weeks of May. I’m very excited to return to México City and to hear about some of your favourite experiences in both places, bonus points for family-friendly activities 🌮🇲🇽💫
