Rent any tilt/shift lens at 25% off the regular price!
In addition to the more mainstream lenses in the Beau Photo Rental Department, we have some niche lenses too.
For example, tilt/shift lenses that are mostly used for architectural, real estate, food and special effects such as the famous miniature effect. In architecture, tilt/shift lenses are used to control perspective.
You can use the shift function to get rid of converging lines so a photo of a building’s exterior has straight vertical lines. The shift function can also be used to stitch together flawless panoramas, or hiding your reflection in front of mirrors by shifting the lens horizontally.
The tilt function allows you to tilt the plane of focus vertically or horizontally to acheive what looks like infinite depth of field or a very narrow depth of field, but tilted. You can also use the tilting function for the “miniature effect.” This can be used to shoot a real world city scene from an elevated position which then tricks your brain into thinking it is looking at a tiny model of a city.
We have Canon EF & Nikon F-mount tilt/shift lenses and also a Mamiya RZ 75mm f4 shift lens.
