Hi everyone,
It was roughly eight years ago that I began taking photographs. While I have reservations about Instagram and many of the ideals it represents, I do recognize that it has introduced me to some truly remarkable people, and for that, I'm deeply grateful. I truly appreciate the continued support I've received from all of you.
Moving forward, I plan to document more of my creative process, and will be launching both a YouTube channel and a Patreon page. Additionally, I aim to increasingly merge my photographic work with my musical compositions, now that I have a dedicated workspace again. This feels like a new beginning.
Last year, I started a photo series focused on the theme of endings, which remains untitled. The series aims to capture those pivotal moments when an individual's life is irrevocably altered—whether through loss of self, grief, the act of starting over, etc. These experiences, universal to the human condition, often go unaddressed, as we seldom allow ourselves the space to fully process the emotions tied to such life-altering events. Our soul is composed of many parts, all of which deserve recognition. I find it essential to explore and present these heavier aspects of life, in order to hopefully discover beauty and peace within them. Each image in the series will be accompanied by an original musical composition. While I have not yet determined how I'll integrate these two mediums for an exhibition, it is my intention to do so. I'll certainly need help with various elements of this endeavour, and am excited to involve my friends in this process. I firmly believe that my most impactful work emerges from collaborative efforts with individuals who are committed to the advancement of their artistic craft. Let's push each other.
Continuing forward, I have updated my handle to as it seems more appropriate.
Note that none of these initiatives are part of a New Year's resolution.
Thanks for reading. Cheers.
P.S. I've started a punk/post-punk band called The Certainty. More on that later.
