Finally got some motivation to take a look at the photos i took, on our visit to Vancouver back in April.
What a place it was.

Loads of Bald Eagles around the city but in the 1 occasion i took the camera out, the sun shone just long enough to capture these beauties.

Photography.... Whats that again?😂
Once again it feels like forever since ive had chance to get out with the camera.

But recently Dad and I headed out for the day in search of the elusive, sadly due to heavy persecution, Hen Harrier.

The sun shone, and we were blessed by a Female and their 2 Juveniles - sadly no photos of these.
However after a few hours this magnificent Male soared passed.
It was a short visit as it was feeding, so a quick flight in drop off dinner, and back out again on the hunt.

This is the first Male Hen Harrier ive seen in England, what a pleasure.

After chasing thee beauties half way round the north east last month, this week they were 50 yards from the house 🤣
Had to scramble and nearly fall out the bedroom window so I could see them to class it as a garden tick ✅

I didn’t expect to see so much wildlife so close to us here in Darlo.

Its looking like it may be a great winter for these beauties.
We have had an influx of Waxwings over the last 2 or 3 weeks
I popped up to Tyneside last week and managed to catch a 'Museum' (as a group of Waxwings is known) of around 25 birds.
Keep you eyes on the local berry trees folks and you might get lucky.
