If you’ve been following along, you know I’ve always been a bit of an "odd sock." I’m into the vibrant, the quirky, and the real.
Lately, I’ve realized my heart is happiest capturing the beautiful chaos of families 🥰 Seeing the same faces come back year after year—watching your kids grow and documenting those "us" moments—is the best part of this job.

What’s changing? I’m officially pivoting Odd Socks Photomedia to focus on what you all love most: Family & Portrait Sessions.

Yesterday was my birthday, which means it's time for my annual birthday self portrait 🥳 27 is all about softness and gentleness. Being gentle with myself, with the way things change, noticing softness in others, finding softness in the world, and letting myself go with the flow.

I keep coming back to this song and these particular lyrics lately, so it seems like the perfect marker for this year. Looking ahead, I want to say yes to the new opportunities that come and allow myself to not always do the same thing, because that's when unexpected magic unfolds.

Rain or shine, this venue absolutely knocks my socks off! 🙌 It truly has it all - lush jungle vibes inside the conservatory for an intimate elopement, and spectacular sunset views for a summer engagement session ✨ Show some love to one of my favourite venues! What can I say about this stunning venue? 😍 Cecil Green Parkhouse is one of my all-time favourite Vancouver wedding venues, and these photos speak for themselves ✨ So many gorgeous locations inside and out, the perfect backdrop for beautiful moments at any time of day!
