Issha () here. These are scenes from our new/old studio. We are now situated in the heart of Railtown, in the live-work building beside Ask for Luigi. This is where we will be shooting food, lifestyle, and editorial campaigns for clients. It has a fully-equipped kitchen, access to props and backdrops, lighting - both natural and studio - and a small producer lounge. The building has a loading zone, and multiple [some paid, some free] parking spots just a block away from the building. This is the .collective HQ. Follow us over there to see what we have in store for our next chapter.

Life took us on quite the journey and we have been inactive because of it. Love, birth, death, heartbreaks, disappointments, unabashed joy, everything else in between - they all happened outside of this space and screen. But we are still around, still thriving as best we can. We are now operating under .collective. We now have a new/old studio located in Railtown, Vancouver. We have been quietly honing in on our unique voices. Stay tuned for a more detailed update. To be kept abreast of what we have all been up to solo, give us - , , and a follow. And of course, feel free to join us at .collective. See you all on the other side. ❤️

A few weeks ago, I () visited Seattle to shoot an editorial for the next issue of our magazine and dropped by to grab some goodies. There, I met , and she gifted me a bottle of their house lavender bitters.

‘Finally got around to playing with it today and crafted my little spin on this gin sour. The result is smoky and orchard-y and the slightest bit flowery - if that makes sense. It’s delicious!

2 oz. Smoked Rosemary Gin
0.75 oz. Apple & Salal Berry shrub
1 oz. lemon juice
1 egg white
5 drops of lavender bitters (garnish)

Shake all ingredients into a shaker tin full of ice, then transfer to another container to dry shake. Double strain into a chilled coupe. Dot the egg white foam with the lavender bitters and enjoy immediately.

Thank you so much, and ! Will be playing with this some more over the next little while! 😊
