Sorry, it's been a minute. What a hectic start to the year!

Now that things have settled down a bit I should be a little more free in the coming weeks. So with that said, I am open for new photoshoot bookings in April (weekends only). 📸

Day 6.

This spot is known as "Eki-Nishi", located just west of Hiroshima Station. It's a really cool area with narrow streets jam-packed with tiny little restaurants and bars.

Day 5.

Hiroshima, Japan
December 2019

There's something about power lines in Japan. They are literally everywhere and especially in the bigger cities like Tokyo, it can look like a real mess. But then again, I can't image Japan without them. They add something really special to photos too, just like this one. :)

Day 4.

Again, this was shot at Itsukushima Shrine in pretty much the exact same location as the previous photo I posted, just a couple months earlier and in broad daylight. I was trying to get a cool shot of the lanterns and this kid just popped his head out and started pointing at something off in the distance. The lighting was perfect and I managed to get a couple shots before he ran away.

Also, if you compare this with the previous photo you can really see how much a scene can change depending on the light alone. I'll be making a post explaining more on this in the future. Oh and, a couple tutorials on basic photography in the works, too! ;)

Day 3.

I took this one again in the fall of 2019 at Itsukushima Shrine at Miyajima, which is an island in Hiroshima. I was super stoked about how the lighting turned out in this one. Always been a big fan of high contrast shots like this, but never really had a lot of luck doing it in color. This has become one of my favorite shots I took in Japan in 2019.
