I had the great pleasure of reconnecting with an old work friend Ágústa Sigrún during this trip after some serendipities that brought us back together. She had found "The Art of Stillness" book at a book market and fell in love with the image "Snæfellsjökull", the glacier she can see from her own living room window. She was keen on buying a print of it as a birthday present for herself but actually ended up buying one of the 5 Editions (edition 2) of Snæfellsnes Diptych with a extra birthday gift from a special person in her life.

And what an honour to be able to be present and help out hanging it on her wall! Thanks Ágústa Sigrún for a lovely afternoon and for supporting my art 🥰 Enjoy!

Hó Hó Hó Bráðum koma blessuð jólin
Loksins kom að því, enn núna eru komin heil 20 ár síðan að ég kom til Íslands um jólin og af því tilefni ákvað ég.. á síðustu stundu, að bjóða til sölu eina af uppáhalds myndunum mínum Mt. ESJA IN WINTER
Þetta er í fyrst sinn sem myndin hefur verið boðin til sölu og er auðvitað frábær jólagjöf ekki satt? Eða falleg mynd á þinn eigin vegg.
Allar upplýsingar um þetta "Iceland Special" er að finna með því að smella á linkinn. Enn þetta tilboð er eingöngu fyrir þá sem eru á Íslandi þessa stundina.
Það er stutt í að ég legg af stað og því um að gera að panta sem fyrst. Ég mun hafa nokkrar umfram í farangri fyrir þá sem panta eftir að ég legg í hann þann 17 Des.

What a hoot to see this 1986 advertising about my photography school, that unfortunately is no longer in existence.

I landed in Santa Barbara for the March term in 1990 and graduated in June of 1993 with a BA in Commercial Photography and Color Technology, which has served me well over the last 30 years.. OMG.. 30 years! 😲

Besides all the learning I did, I met some of the greatest people I know and who influenced my life going forward. I am so grateful for all the wonderful memories I have to look back on.
I had the time of my life 📷💓

I wonder if you had the sun where you are today?⁠

As the sun disappears from my window and sets behind the building across from my studio, I am reminded how much I missed it in the last few days. And in fact, had it not been for COVID-19 I'd probably be in California enjoying it even more along with wee bit warmer temperatures. ⁠
I am not complaining though, the sun is the sun and I like it anywhere....I like it so much that I always walk on the sunny side of the street, always. You'll see me crisscross the streets to get to its rays. A bit obsessive I guess, but whos looking anyway? 😉⁠
