IT’S WEDDING DAY FOR THESE TWO!!! 🦀🐚☀️

Over two years ago I got to document their proposal in Tofino and then a year later their engagement session on Bowen Island. It happened to be a torrential rain and wind storm right as the proposal was happening, but you’d never know by the pics. We were treated with a sunset that evening and met up back at the beach to snap some more pics. Such a special day I always look back on.

For two years I have connected with Katie + Sava and gotten to know them as a couple. It feels I’ve gotten to witness friends go through these phases and I can’t wait to celebrate with them today!!

A perfect sunny Vancouver day for K + J ❣️

Not only did it downpour the entire morning of their wedding, their guests and themselves flew all the way from Colorado for their wedding. Right as set up started the clouds parted and they were treated with sun for the rest of the day. You can just never trust that weather app!!

That feeling when all your favourite people are in one spot!!

An unforgettable day with two amazing people and all their favourite people. I wish I had an unlimited number of slides to show the beauty of this day. Their entire day was spent overlooking the mountains, listening to the waves, and feeling the warm summer air. Truly a quintessential West Coast BC day. Nothing better.

To yearn is to be alive

A creative set done in collaboration with such amazing people. Very heavily inspired by Emily Bronte’s “Wuthering Heights”. It was so intense and so visually beautiful. I left feeling so inspired. This was the creation of that.
