We had the honor of capturing the Empowered Black Girl Galentine’s Day Party—an unforgettable celebration of joy, sisterhood, and Black girlhood in all its brilliance 💖

Founded by , the program is more than mentorship—it’s a movement.

As shared by Program Director Adaeze Oputa-Anu in an interview with CBC news:

"Black girls have unique experiences and it's layered with racial discrimination, gender discrimination, microaggressions.
All that erodes confidence. It erodes your connection to your cultural identity, your connection to your racial identity.
And so we are trying to turn the tide on that. We are trying to provide tools that build resilience."
