Slow Paced and Intentional Wedding Photography

We flew from Toronto to Vancouver, then drove from Vancouver to Kelowna (and had too many incidents happen in this trip that can be called too synchronous and lucky) for R & M’s celebration.

Against a beautiful sunset, a SUPER energetic and fun evening at the celebrating their love. The dance performances from their friends and family was the best one we have ever seen! (Hope to share that soon)

On of my favourite happenstance portraits of a younger brother of the groom- that were one of those moments in weddings that neither could be planned or expected, but it just existed for that brief moment in time.

You will find me sneaking up with my camera where true joy and love is - beyond blessed to be a part of such wonderful moments. One of my favourite weddings from last year!

A gorgeous Baraat like this against the deep blue skies and adobe walls of Santa Fe is a once in a lifetime thing, I am sure of it!

It started from Gerald Peter’s Contemporary Art Gallery and arrived at New Mexico Museum of Art - self arranged music with a travelling speaker on these gorgeous streets.

Everything in a wedding happens in the blink of an eye with so much new ever-changing visual information, with hundreds of people around all the time- that documenting it at the same time, is literally a time capsule moment.

& there are no second chances.

Though I wish, this one would happen again- which of course, like I said, was once in a lifetime time thing.

Seeing two families of different faiths come together with such respect for each other is an honour for us to be a part of and photograph. The community these two have built around them is so unreal and exceptionally tight.

Vintage cars, lots of pretzels, their cats & all sorts of cool things you can imagine - and in the middle of all that the lovely wedding of Maya and Scott.
It was such an intimate celebration sprinkled with the sweetest personal details everywhere you see.

Always amazed to see how faith plays such an integral part of when new relationships begin.

After photographing people of so many different backgrounds, i have noticed that when these moments are coming from a place of genuine feeling towards it, it contains the most beautiful profound & simple moments.

There’s something very grounding about it.

It’s taken me way too long to share some photos from a wedding I wished happened atleast one more time❤️
