The Canadian Rockies climb up from the Alberta foothills in the afternoon sun. Not the best time to get this shot, but you often have to go with what you have in front of you. I metered the shot on the sky to keep the clouds from blowing out with overexposure, and trusted the camera to have enough light in the foreground and mountains, and it worked out. A beautiful view, and I'm glad I was able to get this shot.

Mitch Cooper started this weekend with a big performance, finishing 2nd in the Saturday race, the first of 3 races this weekend. This was a rainy Saturday, always makes for adventures on the track. The championship got closer, with 5 races to go.

Travelling across Saskatchewan this week, we had moments when we could stop and enjoy what this world brings us. This stop gave us an opportunity to watch the grass blow, the clouds move and light change every minute as clouds scudded across the skies, while we listened to the insects make their sounds. A wonderful place for a simple lunch.

At Area 27 drivers meeting this morning, Maxx giving instructions for a day that may involve rain. Track about to go hot.
