We aim to create natural, honest portraits that truly reflect the people we work with all with a sense of humour and lightheartedness. Each one of our packages varies in how many images are delivered, but we promise we’ll always include plenty of images of everything we capture. We don’t like to give a cutoff number because we don’t believe in withholding any images from you for any reason. We pro
mise to capture them fully and give you more than enough images to remember this time in your life. Where are the photos taken? You are more than welcome to express your requests about the location! Ideally, we want optimal lighting conditions. Too much sun or too much shade makes for less desirable results. Otherwise, we know some delightful spots around the greater Vancouver area. From natural settings to more urban downtown vibes. What is your turnaround time? Each package varies in turnaround time. Adventure sessions we have managed to get back between 1-2 weeks. With elopements and intimate weddings back between 2-3 weeks. But all sessions get an Instagram teaser of 5-10 photos within 24-48 hours after! We want you to get your photos back as soon as possible so it’s still fresh in your mind. Not months later. Can I get the raw files? NO, as we believe that editing contributes to the magic that goes into our photography. Without this important step, they are incomplete. However we promise to never leave out any photos that you’ll want/need. These are your memories to have. I only need 10 photos. Will the shoot be cheaper then? NO. We prefer to edit all usable photos from the photoshoot. Considering a lot can come from a photoshoot with us, we wouldn't want to withhold them from you. That's why you’ll receive all edited images, then decide which are your favourites. What should I wear? The question of all questions. We recommend you bring several outfits with you to the shoot. We like to recommend clean, comfortable options, avoiding splashy distracting logos. Simple dresses, blouses, cardigans, nice denim or chinos, boots, or even a suit. Feel free to chat with us before the shoot to create a vision board to iron out the details. Where are you based? Vancouver, Canada! Local or from out of town, people take advantage of our PNW neighborhood for the picturesque views. Vancouver offers some incredible locations that include our vibrant forests, parks, mountain landscapes, new and old city streets. With few secret spots in between and all within a short driving distance. Vancouver has been our home for 6 years now and we’ll be happy to help you find the location that suits you. What time should we take photos? Depending on the season and the time of day. We prefer to avoid high noon when the sun is directly above us. As the sun rises or descends, these conditions create an optimal environment for a photoshoot. How do your payments work? We request a retainer to secure your spot. The remaining amount can be paid on the day of your session in cash or through e-transfer [email protected] (Please note, the retainer fee is refundable up to 3 weeks before the date of the photoshoot)
What if the weather is bad? We encourage embracing whatever weather comes our way, as it can make for beautiful stand-out photos. Of course, if it's unrelenting and harsh enough, we don't want to make for a miserable experience. We can work with you to reschedule.
