Last week, .concha hosted the first Q***r Afro Latin Dance Social by .mtl! It was sooooooo fun and inspiring. We’re actually doing it again on March 8th, but it sold out in the blink of an eye. Grateful beyond understanding!

That night, I stepped down as a photographer and let others cover it, simply enjoying and overseeing everything as co owner. I have never met a photographer who is not territorial about their photography turf, but I really enjoy stepping back a bit, (just a bit!! 😂), and plunging deeper into the beautiful place that is .concha. So thank you and . You both captured photos of me that I truly love, which is quite rare, let me tell you. That bar corner is by far my favourite seat in the place, you captured an awesome moment of me being simply happy.

Pro tip when you do cocktails 📸 for bars and restaurants, do a daylight vibe and a nightlight vibe of the drinks. So the place can use them to promote any events or timeframe needed.

was recognized as the best new restaurant in Canada in 2025, and they are so deserving of it. This place flabbergasts me!

And honestly, no restaurant operating at this level can go without an equally thought-out cocktail list.
I had the privilege of capturing their last 3 cocktail menu, and this latest round is nothing short of remarkable. It’s always such a pleasure to work with a team that cares this deeply about every details.

It’s been a little while since I posted a cocktail photoshoot. Life’s been pulling me in a lot of different directions—and don’t get me wrong, I’ve loved every bit of it.

But I’ve been missing my first niche. Luckily, I’ve had the chance to shoot at a few incredible cocktail bars recently, and I’m excited to finally share these with y’all.

2025 was a year of surprises. And waves. Big lows and beautiful highs, grief and pure happiness, projects, developing friendships, owning a bar (biggest surprise of the year hands down), being received by our pairs with open arms through pop ups and by simply showing up at .concha . Fantastic photography gigs all around the country, dreams coming true. At the end, I remember all the highs. It was a great year!
