Welp… looks like I need to be more active on here…

Since I photographed a friend’s party the other day and she said to me “you really should consider getting back into photography!”

Girl! I never stopped!! I just stopped posting!! Soooooo
I’m 20 years into photography and still loving it, just splitting my time between a few more things!

I’m not sure about you but travelling always gives me new perspective and makes me get fresh ideas.

Portugal was full of beauty and history but TWICE I seriously geeked out over a man with bubbles… such a simple thing but makes me realized how much I enjoy them. So as silly as it may sound as 42 year old woman… I’m going to make more time for bubbles in my life ;)

I can’t believe that we’re at the end of August!!
I have had so much fun capturing families and couples this summer - and don’t want it to end!
A few of my families this summer only wanted a few “posed” shots (read - smiling and looking at the camera) and let me tell you, I’m here for the playful, natural, beautiful moments in between.
I love seeing a child’s character come out, I love seeing families laugh together and play! Believing for much more of this!
Anddddd if you’re wanting a family session I have a couple of dates still open!
Could fit one session in on the evening of August 23, September 3rd and maybe one other date ! So if you’re interested send a message my way ;)
I hope you all enjoy making some memories with your people over the next couple of weeks !

I’ve had the joy of knowing and photographing Carla Moore for over a decade! And it truly has been a joy!

Her and her beautiful family are getting ready for an epic new chapter of life and wanted to capture some east coast family photos before they set off.

Thank you for being exactly you and for having me capture many of your special milestones!

This is me. “Indoor Barbie” vs “Outdoor Barbie” (and photos covering a span of at least 15 years !!)

If you are new to following or don’t know me - I’m proud to be both of these things! I LOVE to dress up, do my makeup and be fancy. But I also love to be outside, on the water, in the woods. I’m so thankful that in life, and photography, I never let myself be boxed in by only one style. (Phewph!)

Variety is the spice of life - I have been saying as a photographer for over 20 years now!

I love making light airy natural light photos, but I also love using lighting to create definition and drama - and can offer both to my clients! (I’ll share a reel with examples on that too !) I can lean hard into one or the other depending on what you want, which can be extra fun!! And we capture candid moments, posed to look candid moments, posed portraits and the details in between. Giving our clients and couples the opportunity for a gallery full of spice!! (Aka variety!)

I would love to hear: are you an indoor Barbie, outdoor Barbie, or both??

Huge thank you to the photographers who have captured me along the way!! (I actually love having photos taken - unlike many of my friends who prefer to be on the other side of the camera!!)

Sometimes, simple is best.
I love in home newborn/baby sessions.
There is a comfort and familiarity for the littles. Less stress for a new mom on what to pack/bring.
Need to stop to feed, no problem.
Have a blowout? Bathtub is right there.
If the thought of packing up to do a session with your baby is overwhelming to you … don’t let it stop you! We can totally come to you!
